Cannon Beach and the Oregon Coast Wedding & Elopement photographer

As a local to the north coast I specialize in documenting love stories on the beach. From beach ceremonies, large wedding events, micro weddings and elopements. Surrounded by incredible Oregon Coast landscapes I photograph frequently in Cannon Beach and throughout the Oregon Coast. Choose from an abundant amount of amazing locations backdropped by the rocky shores of the Pacific Ocean. From dramatic views to soft sandy beaches, waterfalls and old growth forests.

With my photography style I focus on an abundant variety of photographs including quality candids, romantic pictures, naturally posed and fun images that tell the story of your wedding day.

20 years of professional photography experience and a lifetime commitment to the art of photography. I make it my goal to capture timeless photographs to be cherished for generations. My wife and I with our 4 kids enjoy the slower pace and beauty of living on the Oregon Coast. My goal is to preserve memories of joy and emotion in all of my photographs.

LOCATIONS

I can help with location suggestions and local knowledge of the Oregon Coast. There is an abundant amount of amazing beach & viewpoint locations to choose from. If you are looking for a more private beach, Ecola State Park, Indian Beach, Arch Cape, Proposal Rock in Neskowin Beach are great options. For forest, beach and waterfalls, Hug Point or Oswald West State are pristine locations. Haystack Rock in Cannon beach is always favorite! Manzanita & Rockaway Beach have wide open beaches and sand dunes with views of Twin Rocks and Neahkahnie Mountain. Cape Kiwanda in Pacific City is a must see if you are in that area and provides a beautiful variety of scenery. Oceanside and the 3 capes area is yet another set of gorgeous locations. I can also photograph indoors if needed.

Some amazing venues that I frequently photograph at on the Oregon Coast are Surfsand Resort in Cannon Beach, Pelican Brewery in Pacific City, McMenamins Gearhart Hotel, Nehalem Bay Winery, Heceta Head Lighthouse and more. Another great option for your wedding on the Oregon Coast would be to rent a community center. Cannon Beach, Manzanita and Oceanside all have wonderful event spaces for your celebration.

Another option for your beach ceremony would be steps away from your vacation rental. The Oregon Coast has a wide variety of vacation rentals right on the ocean. Providing a convenient and perfect way to celebrate with family and friends. With the convenience of the beach and ocean right outside your door. An absolutely beautiful way to have your wedding day.

LIGHTING & TIME OF DAY

For lighting, I recommend early morning, afternoon or the evening. Although any time of day will look amazing with the incredible scenery on the Oregon Coast. Photographing during the golden hour is always a favorite for those golden tones and sunsets. A variety of lighting can be accomplished during your photography coverage. We use the latest editing tools to be sure your lighting is natural and attractive without the overuse of trending filters.
