Enjoying a gorgeous day on the Oregon Coast for this family photo session in Cannon Beach. Photographing at one of my favorite beach with views of Chapman Point and Haystack Rock. An incredible mix of scenery with rolling sand dune hills, trees, rocks and a pristine beach. With room to explore and take in the surrounding beauty of the Oregon Coast.
Carmen contacting with plans to visit Cannon Beach with her family and a friends family. They were vacationing together in Cannon Beach and looking to capture this fun and memorable time together at the beach. Their favorite place. I suggested a beautiful beach location that would be fun for the kids to adventure and play in the sand. Cannon Beach has so much to offer for families and kids. With a variety of restaurants and shops for kids and adults. Combined with the incredible scenery of the Oregon Coast and an endless list of amazing forest and beach hikes near Cannon Beach. Also a perfect place to relax and take it easy at the beach.
We begin our session photographing the group of kids running over the sandy hills with distant views of Haystack Rock. The group of kids were having a super fun time being silly running around the sand and playing. After some time getting the sillies out we captured a group photo of both families together. With the kiddos it’s great to photograph some candid and organic photos in between the set group photos. While still on the sandy dunes with views of the ocean we photographed each family individually along with the sibling groups. I also captured individual photos of each kid and couples photos of the parents.
Next it was time to run down the sandy dune at full speed. This is sure to create laughter and joy from the kids and adults. As we ventured down the beach near the cove we found a perfect driftwood log to sit for our next set of group photos. I photographed each family on the log with views of the trees, sea stacks and ocean. Such a fantastic location for photography. After some group photos it was time for the kids to have some fun by jumping off the log into the sand. Sure to make for joyful expressions and keep their attention.
We made our way to the ocean shore where we photographed naturally candid photos of the families walking on the tideline near the ocean and rocks. Making for a stunning backdrop for their family photos on the beach. I love capturing a variety of photos looking at the camera and laughing at each other. Cannon Beach is wonderful location to simply have fun, relax and enjoy family time together. With all of our group photos completed in multiple locations it was time for the kids to play in the water and splash around. So much laughter and amazing times together as a family on the Oregon Coast.
