With views of Neahkahnie mountain and a relaxed environment, Manzanita is the perfect place for a couples retreat and an ideal location for an engagement session. Wide open beaches and san dunes overlooking the ocean and mountain.
I always love getting the chance to photograph with couples before their wedding day. It’s a great way to get to know each other and how I work. This session was super fun. An amazing orange winter sunset with not a cloud in the sky. Photographing with Kelsey & Nick was super easy going and lively. We started at Neahkahnie Beach in the sand dunes, then over a creek and down to the waters edge. This golden hour session was on point. You couldn’t ask for better winter conditions.
Looking forward to their wedding day this summer in July at Surfsand Resort in Cannon Beach. Having the variety of both casual photographs in Manzanita and a gorgeous wedding in Cannon Beach will be perfect.
This time of year is full of surprising weather conditions. One week I’m ready to start and out door garden than this week it’s sideways rain and 40mph winds. With spring and summer on the horizon there are more exciting sessions to look forward to.
