A short walk through old growth forest leading to an incredible cove beach. With a beautiful creek to follow through the woods and over a bridge to the sandy shore this location is wonderful. Capturing this family and their excitement for the new baby on the way. Backdropped with the Oregon Coast mountains settling out into the ocean. A spectacular place to document organic moments of love.
Short Sand Beach is one of my top choices for photography. Living close by in Nehalem this beach has always been a very special place for me and my family as well. My kids absolutely love each time we hike down for a beach day and play near the creek and ocean. With a waterfall on the north end of the cove beach to add to the places to explore in the park. I started surfing at “shorties” about 25 years ago in the mid 90’s when I was just 14. So many amazing memories. My absolute favorite beach. :)
