A magical day for a micro wedding on the Oregon Coast. Bayleigh & Clayton were looking to celebrate their love together with a close group of family and friends at the beach. They loved the idea of finding an Oregon Coast retreat with a ceremony on the sand. They rented a beautiful home in Rockaway Beach with sweeping views of the Ocean and Twin Rocks.
We started this day with some getting ready photos at their rental home. My first photo was an aerial drone picture of their airbnb to show a good introduction. We then captured pictures of their details, dress and candids as they prepared with excitement and anticipation of exchanging vows during their ceremony. With this two story home we were able to keep Clayton & Bayleigh from seeing each other before the ceremony. Clayton was elated and nervous awaiting the moment Bayleigh walks down the sandy isle and meet him at the altar. Clayton & Bayleigh enjoy Kayaking, Hiking, Walking Dogs, Movies, Bike Rides and they love the Oregon Coast. They have been inseparable for years and awaiting the day to begin their lives together.
Clayton drove down to the beach in his classic Ford Mustang and made his way to the ceremony site awaiting Bayleigh. This evening on the Oregon Coast was absolutely beautiful for a beach wedding. A light ocean breeze with views of Twin Rocks. An amazing rock formation just outside the shore. With family and friends helping with the ceremony setup and acting as the officiant to marry them. The precession begin with the flower girls then Clayton was in place. Bayleigh was waiting just over the sand dunes for her cue. Once they were ready she walked over the dunes and was in view of Clayton. Clayton shed a tear as she grabbed his hand at the wedding altar.
This beach wedding was short and sweet. They had a sand ceremony to symbolize joining the two of them and the creation of a new family. It was time for the exchange of vows a kiss together and a twirl to celebrate. A beautiful ceremony beside the ocean. With cheers of celebration their wedding guests congratulated Bayleigh and Clayton. After some family pictures we had just enough light before the sun went down for some stunning creative photographs of the bride and groom.
This sunset lit up the sky with a gold orange that reflected on the ocean shore. We captured photos on the sand dunes overlooking the sea and by the colorful waters edge. With a mix of romanic, creative and fun photographs we watched as the sun set over the horizon. Shining a light through the arch in Twin Rocks, a spectacular wedding ceremony on the Oregon Coast.
Bayleigh and Clayton had the classic car ready for them to make their exit. The car rumbled by with family and friends rejoicing as they drove away into their future together. During this wedding day I photographed a variety of pictures and short video clips. I love making video reels with both photo and video combined set with music to create a beautiful memory piece to cherish.
